Braised Turnip with Mushroom
Ingredients
Ingredients :
  • 1 tael dried scallop
  • 1 tael whelk
  • a dash sugar
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 6 bowl water
  • 1 turnips
  • 1 tael Haw
  • 8 maces wheat sprout
  • 8 maces wheat germ
  • 8 mushroom
  • 2 tsp cornflour
Preparation :
  1. Peel the turnip and cut into pieces.

  2. Soak the mushroom with water for 30 minutes, then remove the stalks.

  3. Put the wheat sprout, wheat germ and haw into a muslin bag, then cook with the mushroom, dried scallops whelk turnip in 6 bowl of water, bring the water to boil then simmer for 1 hour; add sugar, cornflour water and white vinegar to taste.
