Crab with Snow Peas
Ingredients
Ingredients :
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound fresh crab meat
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 pound fresh snow peas
  • 1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 cup water
Preparation :
  1. Heat oil. Add crab and simmer, stirring, 2 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, snow peas and water chestnuts; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Stir together wine, soy sauce, arrowroot and water until arrowroot is dissolved.
  4. Pour into cooking crab mixture and simmer another 2 minutes. Serve immediately over hot rice.
